What's Up Art World?
When the Indian Government hosts the most iconic and innovative art exhibition fostering local and national artists, architects and designers, you know its time to visit.
The India Art, Architecture and Design Biennale 2024 was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. It was inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Damodaran Modi with a vision to revitalize cultural spaces. With this in mind, the IAADB was held at the Red Fort to not only invigorate India’s creative economy but also improve the infrastructure at the historic Red Fort precinct.
This experiential art exhibit was held from December 2023 till March 2024 and 3 pavilions were housed in the 19th century British era barracks. Significant restoration effort was carried out to breathe new life into these incredible structures.

Each of the 3 towers were dedicated to a particular concept around art, architecture and design. In addition to this, each floor was also specifically dedicated to showcasing the many creations of the past and the present of the varied artists who painstakingly displayed their art works for the public.
Many of these artists are award winning creators in their own right and have contributed to the designs around our museums and monuments.
All 3 themes hosted continuous, exceptional and colorful displays of art from paintings and sculptors to 3D art installations, free live interactive workshops and curated walks that made it a more wholistic and sensorial experience.

The recently concluded IAADB broke global records with a total footfall of 9,48,171 visitors, averaging to 8245 visitors daily over 115 days.
Having surpassed global standards, India is proving to be a catalyst for innovation, design, creativity and cultural dialogue.
